JUST WATCH (2003)

3 channel video installation, animation of webcam captures on DVD, 22 min (loop)

JUST WATCH was titled after the function of a robotic webcam that allows viewers to observe the choices of other users in real-time Ðas if seeing through somebody else's eyes. In the installation three different points of view are being tracked as they focus on the same event from different angles or switch over to another camera. The montage merges inside and outside, research barracks and serene scenery in Antarctica, a forest of antennas on top of the Empire State Building and a busy clean room in the Nasa Goddard Center.

JUST WATCH was exhibited at the Melkweg Amsterdam in December 2003 - February 2004.
