This composite shows a simulated rainforest environment inside the Buckminster Fuller geodesic dome called the Climatron. The camera -constantly exposed to high humidity and heat -allows for observation of plants in the most minute detail and over long durations of time. Animals -barbary dove, red tanager and native tree frog -can be observed without disturbing them.
